Service · Website design
A construction marketing website built so the pages can actually rank.
Plenty of builder and contractor sites look acceptable and cannot rank for anything. One page carrying six services, no page per community, headings applied as styling rather than structure, and a gallery where the case studies should be. The site is not broken in any way a visitor would notice, and it is structurally incapable of holding a position.
That becomes expensive in a specific way: you can buy authority all year and it will not fix a structure that gives search engines nowhere to send it. Every month of SEO spend against a site with no page for the thing being searched is money aimed at a page that does not exist.
An SEO construction website is one where the structure comes first. A page for every service, community or project type worth ranking, headings that describe the document rather than decorate it, and a template you can add pages to without a developer. It starts at $400 one-time, and is quoted properly after we look at what you already have.
Quick facts
Pricing
Websites start at $400, one-time.
Website work is priced as a one-time cost rather than a subscription, and it is quoted after somebody looks at your current site and platform. There is no monthly fee attached to it and nothing renews.
No firm price is published beyond the $400 starting figure, because the honest answer depends on what exists now. A builder on a locked vendor platform may need only a specification handed to that vendor. A contractor with a five page site and six services needs pages built. Quoting both at one advertised number would overcharge somebody. Ongoing SEO is separate, from $235 a month.
The method
Five steps, in this order, every time.
The website is step three in the same method, not a separate project. Market review and keyword analysis decide which pages need to exist, and the build follows from that list rather than from a page count agreed in advance.
- 01
Market review
Your communities, plan names, build areas and the firms you lose to. We record what ranks today for each name you own.
- 02
Keyword analysis
Branded assets first, then research intent, then commercial intent. In-depth research from Golden upward.
- 03
On-page checks
Indexation, templates, internal linking, page structure. We report what your platform blocks before you buy.
- 04
Authority build
Guest posts on DA 20+ sites and Web 2.0 properties on DA 50+, each delivered as a live URL you keep.
- 05
Report and refine
Monthly. Positions, placements, and what changes next month. Your account manager writes it, not a dashboard.
What you get
Structure first, decoration never.
- A page for everything worth ranking Services split apart, communities separated, project types given their own URL. The page list comes out of the keyword map, not out of a template.
- Headings that describe structure One H1 per page describing the page, headings nested properly beneath it. This is invisible to visitors and decisive for indexation.
- Templates you can extend Adding the next community or the next service should not require a developer. If it does, the site will be out of date within two phases.
- Internal linking that carries authority Related pages linked deliberately rather than through a navigation menu alone, so authority reaches the pages that need it.
- Speed and mobile as a requirement Most of your traffic is on a phone on a job site with two bars. The build targets that condition rather than a desktop on office fibre.
- Schema and technical foundations Structured data, canonical handling, sitemap and indexation controls set correctly at build rather than retrofitted later.
Plainly, what this is
Website design here means building the pages your keyword map says should exist, in a structure that lets them be found, on a platform you can maintain. It is a means to visibility rather than a design exercise.
What it is not
It is not branding, it is not a logo, and it is not a design award entry. It is not a content management system migration unless one is genuinely needed, and we will usually tell you it is not. It is not a prerequisite for SEO: most firms should improve what they have rather than rebuild.
Why construction websites fail differently
Four things a builder site has to do that others do not.
It has to grow with the phases
A builder opens communities and releases plans continuously. A site that needs developer time for each one falls behind within a year, and the branded searches you should own go unanswered while it does.
You may not own the platform
Builders on BDX, Builder Designs or Group Two often have limited template control and syndicated inventory. In those cases the right deliverable is a specification your vendor can implement, not a rebuild you cannot deploy.
The gallery is not a case study
Photographs with no words rank for nothing and answer nothing. Completed work needs scope, duration and location written next to it, which is a structural decision made at build time.
The site is the first proof of competence
Your buyer judges craft visually and is deciding whether you can build a house. A site that looks poorly built undermines the argument before a word of it is read.
Visibility compounds. Ad spend stops the day you stop paying for it.
Process
How a build runs.
- Days 1 to 7 Review and page list We look at the current site and platform, then produce the list of pages the keyword map says should exist and what your platform will and will not allow. The quote follows this, not the other way round.
- Days 7 to 21 Structure and templates Templates built for the page types you will keep adding to, with heading structure, internal linking and schema set correctly from the start.
- Days 21 to 35 Pages and content The pages built out. Where a content plan is running alongside, posts are published into the new structure as they are approved.
- Days 35 to 45 Launch and indexation Redirects mapped, sitemap submitted, indexation confirmed page by page. Nothing is considered delivered until the pages are actually in the index.
Questions
About this service.
How much does a construction website cost?
From $400 as a one-time cost. The final figure is quoted after we look at your current site and platform, because the work needed varies enormously between a firm on a locked vendor platform and a firm with a five page site and six services to separate.
Do we need a new website before starting SEO?
Usually not, and we will tell you so. Most builder and contractor sites can support an SEO program with structural changes rather than a rebuild. A rebuild is worth it when the platform genuinely prevents adding pages, which is less common than agencies suggest.
We are on a builder platform with limited template control. Can you help?
Yes, usually by writing a specification your vendor implements rather than rebuilding. Many builders on BDX, Builder Designs or Group Two have syndicated inventory and restricted templates, and the practical route is working within that rather than against it.
Is the website billed monthly?
No. Website work is one-time. The only monthly cost on this site is the SEO program and the content plan, both of which are month to month and cancellable.
Who owns the site when it is finished?
You do, completely. There is no license, no hosting lock-in requirement and no ongoing fee attached to the build itself.
Can you match our existing brand?
Yes. The build works within whatever brand you already have. We do not treat a website project as an opportunity to redesign an identity you are happy with.
How do we know whether our current site is the problem?
There are three checks that settle it quickly. Count how many separate pages you have for the services or communities you want to be found for: if the answer is one page covering all of them, structure is the problem.
Second, search your own site for a plan name or a community name and see whether a dedicated page comes back. Third, try adding a page yourself and see whether you can, or whether it needs a developer and a two week wait.
A site that fails all three will not hold a position no matter how much authority is pointed at it, and one that passes all three rarely needs rebuilding.
What happens to our rankings during a rebuild?
They are protected by mapping redirects before anything moves, not after. Every existing URL that carries any position is mapped to its replacement, the old sitemap is kept until the new pages are indexed, and indexation is confirmed page by page rather than assumed. Most ranking losses during a rebuild come from skipping that work, and it is the part of the process where care matters most.
What makes this agency different
Seventeen years, and a link report you can click.
Ultra SEO Solutions has operated since 2009 and is a SEMrush Agency Partner, HubSpot certified, and named by DesignRush among the top SEO companies. Work has been referenced by Nasdaq, Yahoo Finance, Business Insider, the Associated Press and MarketWatch.
The operating difference is the report. Every link is delivered with a live, clickable URL, and the assets remain yours permanently whether you continue or not. There is no contract, no minimum term and no setup fee on any of the five tiers.
Published results are on the parent site and linked in full. The closest published work to this audience is a roofing contractor, not a home builder, and it is labeled that way wherever it appears. See all published results.
Find out whether your site can rank before you rebuild it.
Five questions, no call required. We look at your current site and platform and tell you what is genuinely blocked, what is fixable, and whether a rebuild is worth the money.
